  3. What is EUROSAI? EUROSAI is the European Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions, one of the Regional Groups of the International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) EUROSAI GT3 - Knowledge sharing

  4. INTOSAI What is INTOSAI? International Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions Relation INTOSAI x EUROSAI EUROSAI is a regional group. Regional Working Groups promote INTOSAI's goals regionally, thus providing members with opportunities for professional and technical cooperation on a regional basis. EUROSAI GT3 - Knowledge sharing

EUROSAI Objective The objectives of the EUROSAI, defined in article 1 of its Statutes, are to promote professional co-operation among SAI members, to encourage the exchange of information and documentation, to advance the study of public sector audit, and to work towards the harmonization of terminology in the field of public audit, among others. Basic information sources • About us • Basic information about EUROSAI – Status, Presidency, Secretary General, Congresses, Governing Board, Secretariat, Members and International Cooperation • EUROSAI Magazine • an annual magazine containing contributions by members of EUROSAI regarding their experiences and their ideas concerning the auditing of public resources and expenditure. EUROSAI magazine is printed in English, however it is available in an electronic format in the five official languages of EUROSAI. • News • published on the EUROSAI website; • e.g. actual information about various events organised by EUROSAI or its Working Groups or Task Forces. Basic information sources • Working Groups and Task Forces • These bodies are set up for supporting the Congress, at a technical level, in concrete projects and initiatives, being entrusted with specific mandates. These bodies can be created under a permanent basis or for a limited duration for developing ad hoc tasks. • EUROSAI currently has three Working Groups, one Task Force and one Committee, addressing areas with special priority to EUROSAI: • Working Group on Information Technologies (IT), Chair: SAI of Poland. • Working Group on Environmental Audit, Chair: SAI of Estonia. • Working Group on Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters andCatastrophes, Chair: SAI of Ukraine. • Task Force on Audit and Ethics, Chair: SAI of Portugal. • Monitoring Committee for setting up and operating the electronic data base on good practices on audit quality, Chair: SAI of Hungary.
