  1. FOSS Science Kit Support From The Instructional Materials Office

FOSS Refurbishment and Circulation Support • Science Kits are issued through the Destiny Textbook Management System. • Earth Science Kits will be delivered this summer. • Changes to kit counts can be requested by submitting a District-Adopted Core Instructional Materials Order Form-Elementary to Anna Cornett acornett1@sandi.net. • Each kit contains an information sheet and pack list. The reverse side of the pack list can be used to request any missing/additional materials. • These forms are also available on our department website under the Instructional Materials Office.

  3. Receiving FOSS Kits • Site staff should immediately ensure the kits delivered match the Destiny delivery documents before distributing to teacher. • Combo classes receive one kit. (highest enrollment) • Students should be deployed to appropriate grade level. • Report discrepancies to the IMC Warehouse Supervisor. • Teachers should inventory contents by comparing quantities listed on pack list.

  4. Additional FOSS Information • Keep the Life Kits (returning any extras) and Trees Kits. • Keep the teacher binders. • Please return the circulating kits for refurbishment as scheduled. • Visit the Delta-Foss website for additional resources at http://www.fossweb.com/ca/.
