Intro!! • It starts with Cal, a freshman in college majoring in biology. • He’s hunting down one of his ex girlfriends that he has turned into a “peep” • A “peep” Is, what we would call, a vampire. There is a parasite that infects humans through sexual encounter. • Cal himself is only a carrier of this parasite but yet he has all the powers of a peep: night vision, strength, speed, everything. He tries to track down every girl he has knowingly infected.

  3. Protagonist is Cal Thompson. He tries to find and help all he has infected. Antagonist would be Sarah. She is one peep different from the rest. The anathema doesn’t affect her like other peeps. She remembers Cal and her love for the king of rock-n-roll and it doesn’t seem to hurt her like it should.

  4. Conflicted!! • Cal wants to know if there is a way that Sarah can go back to her once human self and maybe start over with her since she would then be immune to the parasite but no peep has ever fully recovered.

  5. Minor Characters • #1 Hayden Panittier would be Morgan, the one who had a one night stand with Cal and infected him with the parasite. • #2 Kate Winslet would be the Shrink, Dr. Prolix that Cal goes to see. She is an ancient, beautiful peep. • #3 Winona Ryder would be Dr. Rat. She’s a carrier of the parasite and rounds up the peeps that hunters have caught.

  6. Book Reviews!! • After being infected, Cal is recruited by an ages-old shadow organization known as the Night Watch, a group that predates the formation of the United States, as do some of its carrier peep members.   7. My Take • This book kept me hooked from beginning to end. With the suspense building in on every page. It has to be one of my favorite tales of Vampires”
