Responsibility Keep your pens and alleyways clean Keep your animals where they are supposed to be Don’t leave your animals for others to take care of Have animals tied in and out at the right times Trustworthiness Lend equipment to those that need it Return equipment you have borrowed Always be on time for your show Respect Respect others always Do not run through the barns Throw away trash, even if it isn’t yours Do not mess with other people’s animals Show good sportsmanship Thank the judges and people that help you Caring Tie up animals that are loose Clean up after your animals Check your animals’ water regularly Citizenship Pick up any garbage that you see, even if it isn’t yours Do not leave the hose running Keep clean and dirty bedding in the correct places Fairness Do not cheat Follow all rules Do not show favoritism Created by Johnson County 4-H Junior Leaders
