  • MEIOSIS IS THE PROCESS OF REDUCTION DIVISION IN WHICH THE NUMBER OF CHROMOSOMES IN EACH CELL IS CUT IN HALF THROUGH THE SEPARATION OF HOMOLOGOUS CHROMOSOMES.
