  2. Transition • Used to move from one clip to the next in your sequence.

  3. Cut Line • Vertical Line Between Two Clips

  4. Transition Alignment • Center at Cut • Centered on the Cut the space between two clips • Start at Cut • Begins at the start of the transition • End at Cut • Begins at the end of the transition

  5. Keyframes • A keyframe is a “snapshot” of how you want a clip to look at a specified time, and is defined on the Effect Controls timeline. • For motion effects to work properly, at lest two keyframes need to be created.

  6. Fading • Basic Effects • Provides a lot of impact • Created by applying the Opacity Effect Opacity Adjusts the level of transparency on a scale of 0% to 100%

  7. Title • Three types of titles • Default Still, Default Roll, or Default Crawl
