Wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after you cough or sneeze. Alcohol-based hand cleaners also are effective. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs spread that way. Don’t share personal items. Practice other good health habits. Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food.  Sign up for UB’s Emergency Alert System to receive information on University closures or class cancellations.
