Business Need Scenario 1 (Idle case): • Employee A has worked for the company for 10 years reporting to Manager M • Employee A has got 80% of his work documented for every project he worked • Employee A got retired and Replaced by Employee B with 1 Month overlap period for knowledge transfer and reporting to Manager M • Manager M got retired 2 years after employee A got retired and got replaced by Manager M1 with 1 month overlap period for knowledge transfer

  7. Business Need - Cont Problems: Loss of Knowledge: Though Employee A has done 80% documentation of his work, he has failed to document 20% of his work for 10 years. Things were fine as long as Manager M is with the company but when Manager M got retired and Manager M1 is a new hire where as Employee B is just 2 years old, they started getting issues Client satisfaction: Clients with whom Manager M1 is dealing with, will be expecting similar quality and procedure of work from new hire Manager M2
