  2. 1. DSP Card (1)If we don't connect DSP, it work or Not? Answer...... Only the call between IP-PTs (NT300 or NT265(D)) and SIP Telephone are available. (2) Between G711and G722 conversation which CODEC is selected? Answer...... G711 is selected. (3) G722 CODEC changes the band wide between 48K/56K/64Kbps. This flexible band wide operation work? Answer...... We use 64K only. (4) When you reach to the VoIP DSP Busy? Answer...... PT displays "VoIP DSP busy", and also Minor error is output. SLT can hear the normal busy tone.

  3. (5) When trunk call is hold, is there any priority to use DSP? Answer...... No, because trunk hear BGM via TSW. (6) Is there any priority to use DSP resource when hold call occurs? Answer...... No priority. DSP resource is used in order. (7)Why Power Resource is different between IP-Trunk(G729=5) and IP-EXT(G729=4)? Answer...... Because, IP-Trunk supports RTCP. (8)Why is it necessary 8 Power Resource for the connection of IP-Trunk and IP-PT with same G729? Answer...... Because, DSP converts to G711 internally for detecting DTMF and RTCP processing.

  4. 2. Maintenance IP Communication Port (1)Why we cannot connect Maintenance LAN port to SW which is connected Main IP port? Answer...... If Spanning tree is enabled, then no issue. However, Spanning tree is not enable, then network loop. Please connect PC directly to Maintenance port. Alternative configuration = Customer choice to disable 2nd LAN port.

  5. 3. Activation Key (1)How dealer can get the activation key file if dealer send the product to customer site and can't understand the MPR ID? Answer....... Please confirm the MPR ID before you send the product to customer site. (2)If DSP card change to other one, built in Activation key is work or not? Answer...... Yes, it works. because DSP Activation key always work. (3)Can dealer see the previously installed license files? Answer....... Yes. If you enter MPR ID, then you can check the Activation keys previously installed. (4)One user can share the IP-PT license and Softphone license? Answer...... No, you need IP-PT license and Softphone license.

  6. (5)Can dealer download the Activation Key many times? Answer....... Yes, dealer download it many times. However, please backup the Activation Key to PC. (6)When dealer buy TDE from one customer resell to other customer. Activation key is belong to old customer ? Activation key is belong to TDE? Answer...... Activation key is belong to IPCMPR Card. So, dealer should buy both PBX and activation key from 1st customer.

  7. 4. NT300 Series IP-PT (1)How long P2P conversation is continued when you disconnect the MPR LAN port? Answer...... Default setting 20sec. We can change this value by system programming. (2) Only one 60 CO key module is connected on NT300? Answer...... Yes. (3) IP-PT can connect up 4 existing DSS console? Answer...... Yes. (4) If P2P conversation change to 3 party conference by pressing 2way button, what happen? Answer...... G722 CODEC change to G711 CODEC automatically.

  8. 5. Built in SVM Card (1) Why SVM occupies 4ch? Answer...... In the future SVM works as MSG card. We use 4ch for 2 CO-CO call. (2)Does SVM function work without using DSP card? Answer...... Yes, it works. 6. SNTP Client (1)How much time difference occur when we don't use Time Adjustment feature? (In 6 Month) Answer...... Less than 30sec in a month. So in 6 month, less than 3 minute.

  9. 7. Enhanced Walking Extension (1)When you set Service Out mode, call FWD feature is work or not? Answer...... No. But if you set service out mode and if you think clearing "FWD to VM" setting is problem, you can use "Intercept to VM". We support this function from TDA MPR V3.1. TDE V1.0 also support Intercept feature from Extension call. 8. IP-GW on IPCMPR (1)In PC maintenance software 9.3 Network operator (VoIP), do we support virtual IP-GW card slot No.? Answer...... Yes.
