Diamonds are fitted to the drill bits that are used for this purpose by which most of the materials can be easily cut. From the process of cutting or drilling materials using diamonds, the term diamond drilling is derived. However, it is instead used for multiple other purposes requiring hard-core drilling and it is not just used for cutting cylindrical holes from concrete surfaces.

  3. CARBIDE HAMMER BITS – SDS MAX, SDS, & SPLINE BITS Our carbide hammer bits are a tough bit with consistent performance because of tungsten carbide. Tungsten carbide is the highest quality yet identified for carbide drills. They stay sharp through hours of hard labor.   4. GPR/CONCRETE IMAGING Americore technicians use state of the art radar equipment to scan a range of surface types. The radar units are capable of determining the location and depth of objects embedded in the surface. In addition, the equipment can detect voids beneath a surface or the deterioration of concrete. Scanable surfaces can vary from drywall to marble; however, the most commonly scanned surfaces are concrete and earth.
