Through the two-year practical training, the Fellows develop creative partnerships with their colleagues, refine their storytelling skills, find their voice as artists and master the technical aspects of editing.   3. Our film producing program promotes confident filmmakers with the skills necessary to create narrative across platforms, identify content, develop materialwithwriters,andworkwithdirectors,cinematographers,cutters,and productiondesignerstodeliverawiderangeoftoconveystories.

  4. Our Film Editing and Producing school program Curriculum This six-week intensive workshop is intended to introducetheAFIConservatorytotheFellows.The focus is on narrative storytelling. Courses for all Fellows in the first year of study, orientation in production guidelines and processes as well as subject-specificworkshopspreparetheFellowsfor bothscientificandproduction-relatedwork.

  5. Our Film Editing and Producing school program Faculty Christopher Cooke is a second generation Southern Californian who received a BA and MFA in film production from UCLA. While still a student, he workedwiththedirectorKingVidoronhislastshort film,METAPHOR.
