  6. Professional Teaching Standards • For New Scheme Teachers maintaining accreditation at Professional Competence, this course will contribute 5 hours of teacher identified professional development in the following standards: 1.2.4 , 4.2.5 , 6.2.3

Outcomes • Enhance participants confidence to incorporate ICT. • Explore the use of ICT in the classroom. • Develop a deeper understanding of the use of learning objects to differentiate instruction. • Share and trial learning objects for Mathematics. • Develop a learning object using Notebook 10 for use in their own classroom. • Develop a bank of teaching resources that are relevant to the stage they are teaching.

  11. Who develops Learning Objects? • The Learning Federation developed digital curriculum content. The project is a collaborative initiative of all Australian and New Zealand governments. The content is free for all Australian and New Zealand schools. The project has been evaluated and finalised and the catalogue is now maintain by CLIC.

  12. The learning objects developed are high-quality online curriculum content for years P-10. The materials are designed to engage students and to support teachers in the teaching of key concepts. Why use Learning Objects
