Founded in 1949 by Kenneth Hawes, the company moved from London toNorthampton in 1982 and expanded its site in 1988.Over 10 years ago, Hawes Signs restructured the business to move from a craft-based sign manufacturer to become the first sign company to employ world-class manufacturing techniques. Hawes Signs is now an engineering company that manufactures signs and has one of the most technically advanced facilities in Europe. By engaging our consultancy service early, clients benefit from concepts being developed that are more easily realised. Our designers use the latest computer-aided technology with virtual prototyping. Each contract has a strong and effective project management team monitoring the programme from instruction to final installation.Major investment in CNC machinery has resulted in one of the most technically advanced sign-manufacturing facilities in Europe, ideally suited to large- volume rollout programmes and lower-volume customised requirements.
