BLM Linac system in 2004 Rack 095 8 channels digitizer VME module (SIS3300), 12 bits acquisition @ 96 MHz with up to 256 ksamples extendable to 1024 ksamples 1 x ADC’s Amplifier Card 4 channels, 300MHz, 26/46dB Amplication Card HV Power supply HV channels (0-2kV, 3mA) Gallery Tunnel e- Injector Girders 5 6 7 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 • 10 BLM systems to be installed in the CTF3 linac : 1 per section (or girder) • Each system is composed by 4 detectors. All the detectors is supplied in parallel by the same high voltage unit. • Each system has its own amplifier card and provides 4 signals to the ADC’s T. Lefevre

Mechanical Support Overview of the linac system • - The support is clamped on the beam girder so that we can move it at any Z position • The detector positions can be also adjusted transversely • The supports are made both in alumina and fiber glass with epoxy resin for the electrical insulation Beam tube or Accelerating cavity SiC inside EM shielding box T.
