OF OLMSTED COUNTY
In 2010, each workplace campaign that offered the DGA option to their employees saw an increase in giving.
Goal 2: Give employees more choices in their workplace giving campaigns.
Goal 3: Help more local charities raise funds so they can focus on their important missions.
Our 3 Goals
Note: Additional membership growth is anticipated
Simple format: Give to one agency…two agencies… three agencies….. or give to all.
Steps for businesses to participate:
1) Accept the DGA in your workplace giving campaign
2) Tell us how many pledge forms you need, and by what date
3) H.R. creates a standard deduction for employees who give
4) Send appropriate funds (monthly or quarterly) to the DGA
Funds can be sent in a lump sum. Funds will be divided accordingly and sent
to each charity as the donor designated. Annual audits are available to all
businesses to ensure transparency. Audits are done independently of the DGA.
