  3. 01. East Sikkim: East Sikkim is one of the four administrative districts of the Indian state of Sikkim. Geographically, East Sikkim occupies the southeast corner of the state. The capital of East Sikkim is Gangtok, which is also the state capital, Gangtok is one of the famous tourist places in Sikkim. It is the center of all administrative activities in the state.

  8. Method of transport in Sikkim: The Sikkim government has fixed rates for buses. Scheme Nationalized Transport (SNT) runs from the bus terminal in Siliguri between Siliguri and Gangtok. There are buses from New Jalpaiguri (NJP) to Gangtok. To reach Gangtok, many tourists travel by train and go to New Jalpaiguri, which is 124 km away.

  9. How to reach Sikkim: You can fly to Bagdogra Airport in West Bengal and reach Sikkim by air. Although there is no major railway station in the state, you can also take the Siliguri or Jalpaiguri train to reach Sikkim by train.
