Having lived most of her life in Maryland, Amanda Moran graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Psychology from UMBC in 2003. In 2004, she graduated with a Master's Degree in Social Work. Directly after earning her MSW, she packed her bags and traveled around Europe before moving to London, England, where she worked as a Care Manager for the disabled and the elderly for 3 1/2 years.
