  1. Accessing CSUF IT Resources for OLLI Members presented by Lori Arthur CSUF Information Technology Training & Support Obtaining an Account Connecting to CSUF Wi-Fi Connecting Mobile Devices Connecting to CSUF E-mail Accessing lynda.com OLLI members will need to follow this procedure to obtain a campus account. OLLI members have access to the CSUF-Students wireless network while on campus. OLLI members now have access to lynda.com training videos via the campus portal. OLLI members have the option to use a campus email account. OLLI members can connect their mobile devices to the campus wireless and campus email.

  2. Obtaining an Account Request a Campus-Wide ID (CWID) and PIN from the OLLI Front Desk by filling out a form. • You will need to provide: • Name • Address • Phone Number • Email Address • Birthdate • Social Security Number You will be notified by Patsy Burns when your CWID/PIN is available.

  3. Obtaining an Account Create a username and password on the CSUF Student Portal. • Go to www.fullerton.edu. • Enter your CWID and PIN in the Portal Login section. Then click Login. • You will be asked to customize your username/password and create security questions.

  4. Connecting to CSUF Wi-Fi Connect your laptop to the CSUF-Wireless Wi-Fi network. In general, you can click on the Wi-Fi icon on your laptop to connect to a Wi-Fi network in the area.

  5. Connecting to CSUF Wi-Fi Go to wireless.fullerton.edu. • Select Laptop. • Select Students. • To start the setup wizard, check “I accept….” and then click Start. In general, this wizard works best if you are using Internet Explorer or Safari.

  6. Connecting to CSUF Wi-Fi You’re done! Every time you are on campus, your laptop will automatically connect to the CSUF-Students Wi-Fi network. Problems? Visit the Student Genius Corner in the Pollak Library South basement. Or call 657-278-7777 for the campus Help Desk.

  7. Accessing lynda.com There are thousands of training videos available on lynda.com that OLLI members may access from anywhere. Log on to the student portal. Then click on the lynda.com tab.

  8. Accessing lynda.com Click the Login to: lynda.com button.

  9. Accessing lynda.com You may be asked to enter your campus username and password again.

  10. Accessing lynda.com The first time you access lynda.com, you will be asked to enter some additional information. You can skip this step.

  11. Accessing lynda.com You are now logged in to lynda.com and can start searching for and viewing online training videos.

  12. Connecting to CSUF E-mail CSUF student e-mail accounts are hosted by Google. • The following Gmail features are available to you: • E-mail • Calendar • Google Docs

  13. Connecting to CSUF E-mail Access your account from the student portal. • Log in to the student portal. • Select the Email tab.

  14. Connecting to CSUF E-mail Access your account from email.fullerton.edu. • Go to email.fullerton.edu. • Select Check your Titan Apps emailunder Titan Email for Students. • Enter your campus username and password. Click Sign In.

  15. Connecting to CSUF E-mail Connect your mobile device to your student email account. • Log in to the student portal. • Select the Titan Apps tab. • Scroll down and click How to set up a POP/IMAP account. This process requires the use of a computer/laptop. Don’t try to follow these instructions on your mobile device.

  16. Connecting Mobile Devices What Devices are Supported? • Android • Blackberry • iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch If your Android uses OS 1.0 or 1.1, you may have to log in to the wireless each time you are on campus.

  17. Connecting Mobile Devices Connect your mobile device to the CSUF-Wireless Wi-Fi network. Each device will have a different procedure to connect to a Wi-Fi network. Refer to your device user guide for assistance.

  18. Connecting Mobile Devices Go to wireless.fullerton.edu. • Select Mobile. • Locate your device type in the list. • Click the CSUF Students link under your device type. • Follow the on-screen instructions.

  19. Connecting Mobile Devices You’re done! Every time you are on campus, your mobile device will automatically connect to the CSUF-Students Wi-Fi network. Problems? Visit the Student Genius Corner in the Pollak Library South basement. Or call 657-278-7777 for the campus Help Desk.
