  5. HOMEWORK WIKI • www.trcsmshw.wikispaces.com • A website that shows the homework from each subject/teacher • Includes homework policy from each subject/teacher and all the details such as… • HW number, Date due, Resources

  6. PLANNER/AGENDA BK • The students organizational tool • By date and categorized by subject • Daily entry by students • Also serves as a checklist of TO DO at home • Please sign your initials daily (if possible) • Staple/insert correspondences here.

  7. A period each week that is incorporated in the regular schedule. • See your child’s daily schedule for details. • Time to do homework, classwork, reading books etc. • Supervised by a teacher.

  8. ADVISORY • A period each week that is incorporated in the regular schedule. • 10 or 11 students per teacher. • Advisor will be the direct manager of the student’s Individual Learning Plan • Various topics and activities on developing leaders who responsibly effect change in self, community, and world (MS Theme)

  9. LUNCH PRIVILEGE • Student/s will be under-study for a certain period to prove that they can obey rules and behave properly in the lunch room. • Written consent from parents is incorporated in the school emergency letter • IDs will be issued to deserving students. • Privilege may be revoked due to various reasons.

  10. ELECTRONIC DEVICES(Cellphones, Electronic Games…) • Turned OFF or SILENT MODE. • For emergency, use school phone at the office. • If confiscated, it may be redeemed on Wednesdays by parent/guardian. • Bring these devices at your own risk. • We will not be responsible for lost or stolen devices. • Special Case: Trips

  11. If classroom rules are broken despite reminders by the teacher • Will be served on lunch time TUESDAYS and FRIDAYS. • Lunch privilege will suspended until detention is served. • Parents will be informed before any detention. • 10 mins eat lunch, go to detention room for silent reflection / evaluation about the reason for detention. • 3x detention = Privileges taken away

  12. OTHERS • $20 MS fund (includes agenda /planner) • Turn in school forms, emergency cards, and the official NYCDOE lunch forms • Avail of FREE AFTER SCHOOL c/o 82nd St. Academics • Lockers – should be organized at all times. You may want to inspect your child’s locker. • HS applications – c/o Raymond • Sign the EVALUATION SHEET at the end of the night.
