School feeding as a viable safety net School feeding as a viable safety net Sustainable School feeding as a viable safety net • 2011 - Armenia is among 10 Countries with highest food prices, according to FAO report. • The Government of Armenia approached WFP asking for continued assistance in bolstering safety nets and specifically helping through design of a nationally owned, nutritious school feeding programme. WFP responded with an innovative approach - Sustainable Nutritious School Feeding project
