  2. PNEUMOTORACE (PNX) • DEFINIZIONE: PRESENZA DI ARIA NELLA CAVITA’ PLEURICA • SOLUZIONE DI CONTINUO DELLA PARETE TORACICA • LACERAZIONE DELLE VIE AEREE COMUNICANTE CON LO SCAVO PLEURICO

PNX SPONTANEO o SEMPLICE • PRIMITIVO: rottura di una bolla enfisematosa sub-pleurica • Individui giovani (III-IV decade) • Sesso maschile • Dolore e dispnea improvvisa durante normale attività fisica • SECONDARIO: • BPCO • FIBROSI CISTICA • INFEZIONE DA Pneumocystis Carinii • ASCESSO POLMONARE • CATAMENIALE (compare i primi 3 gg. del ciclo mestruale) • TUMORE

PNX ACQUISITO o SECONDARIO • IATROGENO: • TRAUMATICO: • Inserimento Catetere Venoso Centrale • Posizionamento Pacemaker • Agobiopsia trans-toracica • Toracentesi • Biopsia Polmonare trans-bronchiale • Rimozione di Drenaggio Toracico • Post-operatorio (Interventi al Torace/Mediastino) • Trauma accidentale • Trauma penetrante (Parete Toracica e/o Polmone) • Barotrauma
