JOTI in Finland. 1st JOTI was arranged in Finland in 1997, in IRCnet by Netscouts Since 2001 Finns have had own language channels in 2 networks: IRCnet & ScoutLink Main happening in Helsinki, arranged by Netscouts (not every year) Some groups make local meetings.

  4. JOTI Activities • During JOTI kids need something to do so .. here’s list of something they can do in Finland: • JOTI badge • IRC – lily (you irc for many hrs….) • collect names to JOTI map • JOTA • also can do parts of badges you do as learning scoutskills

  6. Local groups • Best known group in Finland is probably Vaalan Metsänkävijät (VaaMe - http://pato.vaala.fi/joti/) who has participated 6 times to JOTI • Many has webpage and online webcamera during JOTI

  7. Schools are good places for JOTI Zzzzzz… Little change for irc ..
