Problems. • Hallways have way to many students. • Class Sizes are way to large. • Unemployed Teachers • Students are cut from sports/ don’t play.
Solution. • A new high school.
The Hallways. • The hallways are dangerous, if a shooter came into the school many people would die because the amount of people in our hallways. • The amount of people in our hallways causes students to become late to class • Couples, always couples….
Class Size. • Class size is too large. • It’s hard for teachers to have a student-teacher connection because there is so many students. • Opposing viewpoints said that small class size makes the connection between a teacher and student closer thus making education much easier. • Viking New Tech could possibly become it’s own school and move to a different location.
Athletics. • Two teams in Huntington would cause a rivalry and that rivalry would draw a bigger crowd thus increasing revenue. • The problem is that students do not join teams because they get discouraged because we have so many students and they think they won’t make the team or start. • Two schools would increase athletic scholarships giving students free college. • We would move down to a 2A schedule.
Unemployed Teachers. • A new school would need more teachers, cooks, administrative staff and a custodial crew. • That would create more jobs for people and would lower the unemployment rate.
“Problems” with this idea. • Money, the new school would cost too much.
Solutions of this idea. • Grants.
My ideas for the school. • Location: Where Horace Mann is now. • Athletics: Indoor arena that can be changed for sports. • Mascot: Up for debate. • Colors: Also up for debate.

Agency • I specifically chose this to represent my agency, I worked on this completely outside of school and finished on time and gave a speech over it.
