  1. Claim your NCEdCloud ID Student Edition

  2. Navigate to: https://ncedcloud.mcnc.org You will arrive at a page that looks like this. Find the “Claim My Account” button and click it.

  3. That will pull up this page. Click the bottom pull-down menu and select “LEA Student Claim Policy.” Then click “Next.”

  4. Be sure to enter birthdate with year first, then 2-digit month and 2-digit day. You will need to input 4 pieces of information on this page: • Student UID# • Grade • Birthdate [YYYYMMDD] • LEA Code: 330 Then click to check the box that says “I’m not a robot” and wait to get a green check before clicking anything else!

  5. Complete the task, then click “Verify.” You may get a different task.

  6. You must have a green check as shown here. Then click “Next.”

  7. Step 2 is to set up a password. Be sure to make it fit all the criteria listed. Type your password in both boxes. Then click “Next.”

  8. You will then be presented with several questions. ONLY choose 5 of these to answer. It is important to answer them TRUTHFULLY! DO NOT make up random answers. You will not remember what you put. They should be things you will know, but other people do not know. You will need to remember these answers to verify your identity if you should need to reset your password.

  9. Remember what you answer and how you type your answers. Use the same capitalization and spelling if you have to retrieve your account using these answers. Once you have answered ONLY 5 questions, click the “Next” button.

  10. And you’re all done! Click the blue link to verify your username and password. This will also be the URL you use to log in to use any PowerSchool or Homebase product.
