  2. Regional framework agreement for Office Supplies, split into 6 lots • (1) Stationery/office equipment (1 supplier appointed – Office Depot UK Ltd) • (2) Television and Audio Visual equip (2 suppliers appointed Hiway HiFi Ltd &The Saville Group Ltd) • (3) Domestic Electrical equipment (2 suppliers appointed Hiway HiFi Ltd & Supplies Team Ltd) • (4) Photographic equipment (2 suppliers appointed Hiway HiFi Ltd & Supplies Team Ltd) • (5) Office paper & (6) Print Room paper (award pending due to difficult market conditions)

  3. The 4 new framework agreements became effective from 29th March 2010 and the principle period is 3 years with an option to extend for a further 12 months. • Birmingham City Council (BCC) worked closely with Dudley MBC (DMBC) in order to develop the specification that will enable Authorities to call off a range of requirements quickly and cost effectively. • The initial benchmarking exercise determined price advantages against BCC/DMBC’s existing total stationery spend of around 20% for stationery items.

  4. Further discount of up to 2.75% available from Office Depot when the level of actual spend per annum increases as a result of other Contracting Authorities accessing this agreement • Product prices are fixed for the first 12 months. Thereafter any price adjustments must be agreed in writing by Birmingham City Council. • Detailed KPI’s have been included in this Framework Agreement. • Further information available on the IEWM Procurement Hub http://hub.westmidlandsiep.gov.uk/ or andrea.webster@birmingham.gov.uk
