  2. Welcome • Thisisa mini guideon Poland. I will describe a few interesting places to visit in Poland, such as : • Cracow, • Bieszczady Mountains, • The Slovinski National Park, • Warsaw.

  3. Cracow Cracow is a very oldcity and was the secondcapital of Poland. Cracow is a historic and a very intresting old town. There are many historical buildings, like Wawel Royal Castle. Nearby there is Wieliczka, with a famous museum called „Wieliczka Salt Mine”.

  5. Bieszczady Mountains • In those mountains there are beautiful, natural forests, various animals, plants and uncommon landscaes. In Bieszczady Mountains live bisons, lynxes, wolves, wildcats, carpathian deers, brown bears. There are various trees, such as beeches, firs and alders.

  7. TheSlovinski National Park • In the Slovinski National Park you can see rare moving dunes. Theyare mountains of sand, dunes which move atthe speed of 2-10 meters per year. There are also two coastal lakes. The Slovinski National Park is situated alongside the Baltic sea. Four species of mammals live in the Baltic Sea. They are: grey seal,common seal, ringed seal and a porpoise.

  9. Warsaw Warsaw is the capital city of Poland. In Warsaw you can see: • The Royal Castle • Palace of Cultureand Science (237m high) • Royal „Łazienki” Gardens, In the Łazienki Park there is the Palace on the Isle. You can also meet squirels, peafowls, etc.
