  2. Once there was a mouse who asked for a cookie.

  3. If you give a mouse a cookie, he will probably ask for a glass of milk.

  4. If you give a mouse a glass of milk, he will need a napkin.

  5. If you give a mouse a napkin, he will need to throw it in the trash.

  6. Mouse will probably knock over the trash can so he will need a broom to clean it up.

  7. After he cleans up, he will need to put the broom away.

  8. When mouse puts the broom away, he sees the cookie jar…

  9. What do you think will happen next?

  10. …and he will ask for another cookie!

  11. When the mouse puts the broom away , he may knock over the cookie jar. In this case, he will need to get the broom out again and clean up the mess.
