  2. My PowerPoint is a about an angel shark. • An angel shark has been around for millions of years.

REIGIONS OF THE WORLD-HABITAT/ HOME • Eastern pacific, from southeast Alaska, USA, to Baja California, Mexico, and from Ecuador to southern Chile. • The angel shark is a bottom dweller on the ocean floor. • Lives, 3,656 ft. below the ocean surface. • They bury themselves on the floor of the ocean with only their eyes showing.

  4. Prey and Predators • The angel sharks prey are other fish like flat fish, corbina, hake, boney fish, halibut. They also eat squid. • The angel sharks predator is the great white shark.

  5. Adaptations to the Environment • The angle shark will bury itself on the ocean floor to cover itself so it can not been seen by its pray. It jumps out and eats its prey by surprise. • It is a sandy color, like the color of the ocean floor.

  6. Physical Description • Triangle shaped head with a long tail. • Large rows of teeth to better eat its prey with. • About 5 ft. long. • Large eyes. • Weighs 60 pounds and lives up to 35 years.

  7. Interesting Facts • Bottom feeder • Used to be called the monk fish • They replace their teeth when they lose them. • They look very similar to a sting ray.
