  2. Incheon, with its population of 260 million, is the third largest city in Korea. Incheon has been steadily being developed as an outer harbour of Seoul. However, it is believed that it will no longer be staying to play the role of only outer harbour of Seoul but it sure will play a role as the Heart of Korea. Incheon is now being developed with an amazing speed. Incheon is now ready to reborn as "Incheon of the World" through the Free Economic Zone (FEZ). It is believed that Incheon will grow up to a central economic city in the North East Asian era under the slogan of 'Power of citizens to one! and Power of Incheon to the World!' Incheon Harbour: The gateway to Korea of western sea and the center of Yellow sea region. Incheon Moonhak Stadium: One of the stadiums used for the World Cup Soccer Games.  Incheon International Airport: Expected to be developed to the Center of Economy in the North East Asian Region by 2020.

  3. SONGDO With a commitment to sustainable design principles and the best practices of urban planning, Gale International and its partners have realized their vision for a new international city. The master plan calls for a synergistic mix of uses for Songdo IBD, from architecturally advanced office and convention space to world-class hotels.  Songdo IBD is also home to a variety of residential and retail developments, offering a range of shopping, dining and entertainment experiences, as well as public and private schools and state-of-the-art health care facilities.

  4. Incheon Grand Bridge Incheon Grand Bridge, a ‘red carpet’ expanding to the world, connects the present Incheon International Airport Highway and the second Kyungin Highway making its way to the gateway to Korea, Incheon International Airport and Songdo International City.

  5. Ganghwa Ganghwa Island is the fifth largest island in Korea. It is located in the West Sea. There are 28 islands. 11 of them are inhabited islands, and the others are uninhabited islands. And its beaches are 99Km long. In 31 December 1997, the Ganghwa Bridge was created. So the island is more convenient to visit. Ganghwa island has many famous scenic spots and ancient artifacts. The most famous of these are the Goindol Rocks, designated as a World Cultural Treasure. The Goindol graves are where the rulers of the Ganghwa Island in the Bronze Age are buried. And there is Mani Mountain. If you go to the top of Mani Mountain, you can see the West Sea and the island. This is where Dangunwanggeom is said to have offered sacrificial rites to the heavens.

  6. Wolmido lsland Incheon Harbor has a dock with a floodgate… The dock is a structure that isolates a ship and then lets sea water in and out to float the ship; the floodgate is installed on the dock to prevent the movement of sea water after the ship enters the dock. For the West Coast, and especially in the case of Incheon, the difference between the ebb and flow of the tide is severe, and therefore the floodgate was developed to resolve problems caused by such differences. The floodgate can be considered the symbol of Incheon City.
