  2. OECD RADIO / TV PRODUCTIONS • The OECD has fully-equipped radio and television studios that are available for use by journalists reporting on OECD activities. Material can be recorded, edited and fed in our studios, and live interviews can be conducted by satellite from outside Paris. We can produce rough-cut or ready to air radio and tv reports. We work with freelance professionals to the requirements requested by the radio or television network.

TELEVISION PRODUCTIONS • One permanent FIBRE OPTIC link is available to conduct live interviews or to receive pre-recorded material from the OECD. • Live on tape interviews can also be shipped. • EUROVISION EVN reports are offered during major meetings to EBU members and visiting networks. • The OECD produces edited reports covering major activities for the CNN WORLD REPORT. Similar packages can be provided to other networks. • News conferences and stock shots can also be provided. • Camera, sound and editing staff are available free of charge.

TELEVISION FACILITIES • TELEVISION STUDIO (70 m2) fully equipped with quartz lighting and choice of decors. • TWO SONY PVW 637 A BETA SP PAL video cameras • ON-LINE POST PRODUCTION FACILITY with digital Sony video switcher/seg, BETA SP, BVU SP, U”MATIC and VHS multi-standard players/recorders. • FIBRE OPTIC link with PARIS SERTE offering worldwide feed facilities. • PERMANENT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE • ADDITIONAL TEMPORARY FACILITIES: Second ENG crew, second editing room.

  5. FIBRE OPTIC FACILITIES • The OECD can set-up SATELLITE FEEDS via FRANCE TELECOM. Booking of space segment to be made by receiver: GLOBECAST PARIS 33 1 44 61 47 00 • IFB (phone feed) has to be set-up for incoming questions from abroad. OECD IFB N° 33 1 45 24 81 58 • COORDINATION AND TALK-BACK is also available for technical purposes. OECD TALK-BACK N° 33 1 45 24 80 98 • DOWNLINKS and other technical aspects have to be dealt with by the receiver network. • OECD FACILITIES ARE FREE OF CHARGE, including studios, equipment and technicians.

RADIO PRODUCTIONS • RADIO REPORTS can be produced and transmitted in co-operation with visiting correspondents. • LIVE OR PRE-RECORDED INTERVIEWS can be conducted in studios or through phone line, specialized radio circuits or ISDN digital lines. • RECORDED EXTRACTS of speeches or news conferences can be provided as background or for broadcast

RADIO FACILITIES • A COMPLEX OF PROFESSIONAL RADIO STUDIOS fully equipped with STUDER mixing consoles, tape recorders and “Mix-Minus” phone feed facilities. • LINKS with PTT Paris-Archives repeater station for radio circuits. • ISDN digital audio transmission facilities • PERMANENT TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE.
