Third grade students were studying plants in Science. In art we looked at the work of artist Georgia O’Keefe. We noticed she painted her flowers enlarged. She painted them this way because she wanted the people of New York to have to stop and look at the beauty of a flower. It is hard not to notice the beauty of these third graders wonderful paintings.
