Introduction Introduction • The gaming network industry has majorly progressed over the years. • This paper will explore five different gaming networks. • Three of them use console and two of them do not require a gaming console. • it will be discussed how these gaming options use different types of networks.

Online gaming without consoles and their network: Steam • Steam : • Is a digital distribution platform created for Windows and Mac OS • allows users to buy, download, and play games as well as communicate with friends and play games with their friends. • was created by the Valve Corporation as a platform for developers to use to safely distribute their games with some protection against piracy.
