Active Learning is “a process of having students engage in some activity that forces them to reflect upon ideas and how they are using those ideas”. (Michael 2006) • Active Learning is NOT a large project, but the smaller tasks you give students • Active Learning is students doing more than listening. How can you assess listening? • Active Learning is NOT zero “telling”, some is always necessary. What is active learning?
