MITA To promote the value of medical imaging to policymakers, prevent additional Medicare reimbursements cuts and eliminate regulatory barriers to access, Powell Tate developed a media relations and grassroots advocacy campaign for the Medical Imaging & Technology Alliance (MITA) to demonstrate the importance of policy and regulatory solutions that help ensure proper utilization of advanced imaging technologies without compromising patient access to quality care. Powell Tate capitalizes on the power of storytelling to deliver key industry messages through proactive media outreach and rapid responses to the stories of the day. We also work closely with patient groups and individual advocates to share their imaging stories and advocate for coverage decisions and effective policies. Recently, Powell Tate launched a digital engagement campaign through MITA’s Facebook and Twitter properties to grow our patient advocate community and supplement ongoing legislative advocacy efforts.
