  3. Carhenge Carhenge is located next to the city of Alliance, Nebraska along the High Plains of the United States. It is a replica of England’s- Stonehenge but instead of being built with gigantic standing stones this site has been built using vintage American automobiles with gray spray paint. Carhenge was built by –Jim Reiners and in 2006 a visitor Centre was added to serve the site. Today Carhenge comprises 39 automobiles on display all of which have been arranged in a circular manner about 96ft tall. Some of the cars have been held trunk end down while some are held upright all of which have been designed to replicate Stonehenge’s dilapidated state.

  5. Scotts Bluff National Monument Scotts Bluff National Monument is a 300 acres monument is located along the west of Gering city, Nebraska, United States. It is a popular tourist attraction with more than one million visitors annually. The monument is known to protect many historic trails, prairies, wetlands, towering bluffs, rugged badlands, and the surrounding regions. It has got its name after Hiram Scott — a clerk who died near the bluff in 1828. Today the bluff is an important landmark for the Oregon Trail, Pony Express trail, California Trail, and the Mormon Trail. From 1843–1869 around 2,50,000 westward emigrants passed through this trail making it a great site for historical events. It was amongst the most referred landmark for pioneer journals and diaries. The paved trails are popular among bikers, mountaineers, hikers, cyclists, and adventure seekers. Another point of interest around this region includes the views from the Mitchell pass, views from the summit, the saddle rocks, the bicycle paths, etc.
