  2. Membership Categories • Active • Associate • Non-MS4 governmental units, State agencies & Non-profits • For-Profits • Individual SWANC

  3. Active Members • Composed of North Carolina municipalities, counties, and unified governments, as well as entities that hold NPDES permits as municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4s). • Each Active Member may designate up to three individuals to serve as its representatives. SWANC

  4. Active Members • Governmental Units and MS4s • Population Based • 0 -9,999 population $150/year • 10,000 - 49,999 $275 • 50,000 - 99,999 $425 • 100,000+ $575 SWANC

  5. Associate Members • Composed of special purpose governmental units, public authorities, lead regional organizations, agencies of state government, universities, community colleges, public schools, non-profit entities, private firms and consultants, and other entities interested in the Association’s objectives. • Each Associate Member may designate up to three individuals to serve as its representatives. SWANC

  6. Associate Members • Non-MS4 governmental units, State agencies & Non-profits • Flat Fee Based • $350/year SWANC

  7. Associate Members • For-Profits (private firms and consultants) • Based on # of Employees in NC • 0 - 9 employees $150/year  • 10 - 49 $275 • 50 - 99 $425 • 100+ $575 SWANC

  8. Individual Members • Any person who demonstrates an interest in the Association and subscribes to its objectives shall be eligible for individual membership. • An employee or official of an Active or Associate Member who is not designated as that member’s representative may join as an Individual Member. SWANC

  9. Individual Members • Any person or Non-designated employee • Flat Fee Based • $150/year SWANC

  10. Invoice Timing • Membership is FREE through June • Invoices will mailed by NCLM in July SWANC
