  3. Walk Down Memory Lane – First Ambassador Tip Friday Free Day You know when you just CAN’T keep doing school? Maybe it hasn't happened to you yet, but later in the year school can really become a drag. I like to work hard during the week and get as much of Friday's school done as I can; sometimes I even get Friday all the way FREE! That's something I look forward to for the week, is having a relaxing day on Friday. That helps motivate me to not leave any school for the next day, and to even do tomorrows lesson if I can. Another tip-if you have a free day or an optional lesson in a class, move onto tomorrows lesson. Then you won't have that lesson on Friday! It is so nice to get a "3 day weekend!" Melissa B.

  5. TEACHERS AREN’T OUT TO GET YOU!! Ask your teachers and counselors for tips! They have great advice to give about your classes and some words of wisdom to say about your school day. They even have a few tricks up their sleeves if your computer is acting up. It's always best to talk to them in person, or over the phone. So give them a call! Especially if you have a few questions about a certain subject- like science. There's a lab due pretty soon, but you have NO idea on how to do it and the class connect didn't help as much as you thought it would. Give your science teachers a call! They understand completely and are willing to help you.Remember: Teachers don't want you to fail. They want you to graduate and pass each class with flying colors! Don't worry, they're not out to GET you, they want to HELP you! -Jessica Lebsock[idva.jessica@gmail.com]

  6. Memories to last a life time… • My favorite memory of this past semester was the school dance in Boise. – Maggie P. Chaycelee and Aspen Dakotah, Grant, Chaycelee, Matt, Aspen Jennalyn

  7. Tips for success… My tip for success it to find a ‘study buddy’ because they can often times can help you study. You can also do your science labs with them (as long as you each fill out the lab report on your own) and study for tests with them. They don’t even have to be in your grade, or even talk because if the just sit and listen to you go over your notes each night. If they encourage you to work on school and don’t mind listening to you talk for 10 or 15 minutes each night – they can be helpful. Find a dog or a younger sibling and ask them to quiz you on the information you learned….you study and you get to spend time with them.  Jennalyn Eliasen My ‘Study Buddy’ 

  9. Ambassador Tip: Falling behind in your work • By DakotahRichcreek •   One of the biggest tips K12 can offer is too never ever fall behind in your work because sometimes it is hard to play catch up, I remember a few years back when I first started this school I was behind in a lot of my classes and I was close to failing. But thanks to the teachers they gave me the time I needed to catch back up with everyone. No matter how hard u try to catch up it can be difficult but fear not, your teachers are there if I need. When u do fall behind, u have to do the work assigned for that day and also the days u missed from either yesterday or last week. So keep trying and don’t give up, don’t put it off do the day it’s assigned. Have a good weekend too all of you!
