  1. What are Bidet Toilet Seats? Bidet toilets have been called (and mistaken for) many things. From drinking fountains to unusual urinals and even foot washers, the unique appearance of toilet bidets makes them an interesting, sometimes confusing sight to see in the bathroom, especially for those unfamiliar with the concept. Bidet toilets are slowly becoming staples in modern home as more and more people find bidets to be an essential part of their routine. Bidet toilet seats come in all shapes and sizes, but they are used for one purpose—to clean and wash your undercarriage. Modern bidets are designed so that they are able to spray a targeted jet stream of water to even the toughest places to clean. Bidets are specialized bathroom accessories that used to be a standalone fixture installed near the toilet; to use them, one needed to move and squat over the fixture for cleaning. Today, however, modern versions are so much more convenient to use as they come in-built with toilet seats. Modern toilet bidets also make use of new technology, incorporating recent convenience of these fixtures. With smarter bidet installations, spraying and washing functions are much easier to use. A common configuration for modern bidets includes a hygienic nozzle that extends beneath the user when in use and then retracts inside of the innovations to improve the function and

Others still feature modern conveniences and extras like night lights, heated seats, warm air dryers, and sometimes even, deodorizers. When bidets don’t come as in-built attachments for toilet seats, they come as add on options for toilet installations. These types of toilet bidets are powered solely by water pressure, offering a more economical option than more advanced bidet attachments. These bidet attachments typically install beneath the toilet seat so it is easier to find toilet repair parts for fixing instead of replacing the entire toilet seat installation altogether. Water stream can be controlled using a dial or spray handle typically placed on the attachment arm. There are also hand-held bidet sprayers, which are also known as bidet showers. They look like and work similarly as kitchen sprayers or garden hoses that you can manually navigate as you wash. These types of bidets are typically placed in a wall holster or one that is attached to the toilet tank. They make for great multi-purpose bathroom attachments as they can likewise be used to rinse down shower walls or even bathe your pets in the tub.
