  2. Quick Steps: Quick Steps are available to use from the Home tab. Outlook 2010 has a number of predefined quick steps which you can start using immediately

  3. Conversation view: Now your email replies will be easier to track. With Outlook conversation view enabled it organize everything by date, but also who it is from along with whether the email was a reply. This feature can be viewed by check ”Show as conversation” under View tab 

  4. Resend or Recall Messages: From Sent Items folder, double click on the e-mail which you want to recall and click on recall option which is under Actions menu in the message tab.. Outlook will try to report back to you on the success or failure of the resend or recall

  5. Outlook Options To find the button that opens the Outlook Options dialog box, in Backstage view under file tab.

  6. Search: Now you can easily search for users by organization using organization tab

  7. Flag Outgoing Messages While writing a message, you can create a reminder for yourself to follow up on the message later. Go the Ribbon's Message tab> Tags group> click Follow Up. From the dropdown menu select a time for the follow-up

  8. Search Tab: When you click on the Search field at the top of Outlook's message list, the Ribbon displays a new tab labeled Search Tools. In the Search Tools tab, find the icon labeled Search Tools, click the down arrow and choose Advanced Find to open a dialog that lets you fine-tune your search

  9. Set Out of Office Message You can easily set an Out of Office message if you’re going to be away for a few days. Select the File tab>Click Info> Click Automatic Replies (Out of Office). Fill out the information as needed

  10. Recover deleted items: MS Outlook 2010 has a build in option to recover mails deleted, even after the Deleted Items folder is emptied. To recover deleted items, click on the folder from which the item was deleted, or on the Deleted Items folder> click Folder tab> click Recover Deleted Items. Click an item, and then click Recover Selected Items

  11. Add you picture MS outlook 2010 comes with new features where you can add your picture in the profile. To add your picture, just send an email to IT helpdesk (hdservices@knpc.com)

  12. Automatically Close An Email Message After Replying To make sure that the email message is closed after it has been replied or forwarded, click the File tab> click Options > click on Mail , locate the Replies and forwards category in the right side of the dialogue box. Here make sure to check the Close original message window when replying or forwarding option)

  13. Sync your smart phone with the outlook You are able to sync your smart phone with mails, contact and calendar and reminders as shown in the figure. Example iPhone: Go to mail, contacts, calendar in the settings > click add Account> click Microsoft Exchange > enter your email, Domain (main), and your username and password> click next Then you can enable the items that required to be sync
