STANDING COMMITTEES Purpose Committee members study and make recommendations to the Board on projects, programs, or FGFOA policy positions that will enhance the value of the organization to its membership.

Conference Host Committee Purpose Plans and organizes various events and activities at the annual conference.

Conference PROGRAM Committee Purpose Plans and develops the educational program at the Annual Conference and Pre-Conference to help improve the quality of financial management in government units.

Legislative Committee Purpose Provides geographically based information network to assist in promoting, sponsoring and opposing proposed legislation before the State Legislature.

MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT Committee Purpose Actively engages both existing and potential members to enhance the Association. Promotes growth and leadership opportunities to current members through the mentoring program. Promotes government careers though the scholarship program.
