Sandvik Polished Belt • Sandvik Polished Belt • Different surface grade for different application needs • Inclusion level, surface roughness, thickness tolerance etc • Main Usage • Used in film casting machine for high-tech plastic films • Best for thin, constant, high optical performance film • Major end-user applications: FPC, LCD display, packaging etc • Major materials are PI, TAC, PC, PP and PVA etc • Casting techniques are more used to produce thin films to meet market’s high spec demands

Feature 2: Installation Service • Belt to be delivered with endless or open length • For endless • Cross-welded line is polished with seamless condition in factory • For open length • SPS provides on-site installation service • Cross-welding and polishing of welding line • Field polishing equipment available (in Japan)

Polished Belt – Production Process • Steel Belt from Sweden • AOD Material (Argon-Oxygen-Decarburization) and ESR Material (Electroslag-Remelting) • Use ESR belt (less inclusion) for high grade polished belt. • Mechanical property is same. • Polish in Japan factory • 5 grades, PF-0 to PF-4 • Inspection • Inspection by Sandvik • Inspection by Customer • Delivery and Installation to Customers • Factory or Field Welding 1）Belt Material 3）Inspection 2）Polishing 4）Delivery and Installation
