Diligence • The beginning and end of 2 Peter 1:5-11 • “giving all diligence, add to your faith…” v.5 • “be even more diligent to make your call and election sure” v.10 • Adding to faith = growth • Adding to faith  security • Abounding  being fruitful v.8 • Diligencewill be rewarded v.11, Heb. 11:6 WHAT are we to add?

  3. Add To Your Faith • Abundantly supply: • Virtue • Knowledge • Self-discipline • Perseverance • Godliness • Brotherly love • Love

  4. 1 Tim 4:12-16 • Be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity. • Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 2 Tim. 2:15 • Meditate on these things; give yourself entirely to them, that your progress may be evident to all. • Take heed to yourself and to the doctrine. • Continue in them, for in doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
