  6. Activities 2011 OUTCOME IN THE REGION • AAEC: • Action plan and budget 2012-2014 • ICS platform for AAEC members • SINGLE WINDOW DEVELOPMENT • New projects: Kenya, Benin, Burkina Faso, Rwanda • Improved projects: Cameroun, Senegal, Ghana • Open projects: Ethiopia, Mali, Tanzania

CHALLENGES • LACK OF VISION ON TF THROUGH PAPERLESS • Solution: Develop Guides based on best practices, standards, and ground experiences. • LACK OF AFRICAN CAPACITIES ON TF AND PLT • Solution: Regional CB workshops and creation of an African branch of UNNExT. • FUNDING PILOT PROJECTS AND AAEC ACTIVITIES. • Solution: Prepare projects proposal and meet with donors
