  1. Creating Your Own Wonderland

  2. Overview • Imagine that a youngster from another planet has just dropped through a hole of sorts and plops onto the floor of the main office of your school. Write a narrative that shows which people and activities in your school would seem frightening, bizarre, or silly to such an adventurer. Do some prewriting that will eventually lead to parodies of the people and activities. The prewriting notes should indicate how the you will distort people and activities for comic effect.

  3. The Basics • Where? What parts of the school does our alien visit? Cafeteria, Theater, Gym, Courtyard, Classroom, Chapel, Maintenance… Does he discover somewhere else?? Water fountain, Fire Hose, Toilet, Tea Pot, Projector, Lappy?
