  2. Who is she? • She fought against the Turks in the Greek revolution of 1821. • She died in 1824.

  3. Why is she famous? • Because she fought against the Turks. • She spent all of her fortune, not only for the ships, but also for the troops ashore.

  4. Some of her famous works • She cooperated with Kolokotronis (a famous General) and other soldiers. • She was a brave captain of large war-ships. • She made her fortune bigger because she was a good merchant.

  6. What did the men wear in 1821? • The fustanella was for men in 1821. • The fustanella was white and short. • Fustanellas were used as rags on ships. • The Greeks fought with fustanella.
