  3. Taskforce Objectives • Create a consistent and uniform process to determine student’s financial aid eligibility • Reduce student’s anxiety and fear in requesting financial aid

Taskforce Outcomes • 2006/2007 TASFA released January 2006 • Training opportunities – Spring & Fall • e.g. TG webinar, New Aid Officer’s Workshop, College Board’s Southwestern Conference, TACAC • Procedures for Financial Aid Administrators • FAQs for FAOs • Downloadable PDF (English & Spanish)

  5. Overview of TASFA • Section I: Student Information • Dependency questions • Section II: Household Information • Section III: Additional Information • Student – housing plans, drug question, taxes • Parent – marital status, age, taxes, education
