They asked me to try and create multi-shot fishing rods perhaps meaning that the fishing rod is going to fire multiple different lines in multiple different directions this one's not very easy as you can see i commented saying i don't know how to do it but I gave it my best shot as you will see very soon there are some shortcomings to this but it still works it's a really cool idea i wanted to try so I have a normal fishing rod over here it's not enchanted and so i'm going to cast it into the water and we will wait for a bit here we go and I have one raw card i've tried this a lot i have done a lot of testing fishing is actually a very boring task in minecraft i'm so glad fishing has more applications than just casting into the water and getting some food so i'm going to enchant it with Multishotminecraft chapman cost two whatever by the way if you're wondering why there are so many trees right here it's because i've been planting 20 million trees during a live stream that's why there are saplings everywhere because I just spammed my fishing rod which actually planted trees i'll link the live stream in description if you like so here we go watch what happens when i cast my multi shot fishing rod into the water seven fishing bobbers appear six extra ones three on one side three on the other side and clearly the shortcoming is that i don't have the fishing rod connected to each of these i asked my community members and um i couldn't couldn't figure it out i really didn't know if it's even possible I don't know if it's possible actually and here we go we have seven raw salmon it multiplies whatever you catch it actually multiplies by seven this is so stupid it'll be so much better though if I could actually connect the line to the other six bobbers it would definitely add to the illusion but the concept still works I guess so here we go seven raw card now I don't think it works for all treasures I actually tested it out and one time I caught a water bottle and that did not clone not sure why it didn't but i'm actually just catching fish right now i think it may be because it doesn't actually count as fish caught even though it should because fish caught basically means you've caught something on the fishing line doesn't necessarily have to be fish yeah i'm actually just getting cod there we go leather did not clone which is dumb but it might be a little bit overpowered even if it did but how this works is um these are not
