  1. An overview of the Three P's of Project Management Albert Farrales

  2. People managers oversee projects. We've all heard this before, but is that all there is to it? Are we merely personnel administrators? I accept that managing people is part of our duties as project managers. I suggest that we pause for a moment to consider a few details.

  3. The three Ps of project management are what I want to discuss in this essay. The components and organisation of project management must be considered while applying the three Ps. The majority of us are aware that there are nine knowledge domains and project management process groups.

  4. Therefore, effective people management is crucial, but would a projects be successful with neither two P's? Let me first outline the three Ps of project management before conducting a review. 1) The management of people 2) Management of processes 3) Management of performance

  5. Project management requires effective people management. To get a team to cooperate in harmony and work toward a project's goals, the project manager must exercise strong leadership. In my opinion, collaboration and cooperation are two essential elements of effective people management.

  6. How can you create a team that encourages cooperation and collaboration? I've discovered that a team, not a single person, makes the best decisions. I gather the team as soon on in a program to talk about the goals of the project. The best conclusions should then be reached after involving IT resources and subject matter experts in a debate.

  7. Any team that wants to advance typically goes through phases like forming, norming, storming, and conforming. This is something that the PM anticipates and is ready to manage so that the team performs.

  8. Both process management and people management are critical. The likelihood of delivering a successful outcome of the project is significantly lowered in the absence of either of these. The PM employs reliable, repeatable procedures that result in a successful project execution in order to enhance project outcomes.

  9. I discovered that when a similar team handled the following application version with just a project management program in place, the outcomes were excellent. A strong scope document contained the details required for user acceptability testing. Five modification requests were submitted; four of them were approved after going through to the change control process.

  10. Consider the prior queries for a moment. Are project managers merely people managers in disguise? Is a PM's responsibility for managing people their most crucial task? Project managers need to strike a balance between people and process management, in my opinion. The best result won't be achieved if one is done without the other.
