  1. Login Enter your username and password here. Alternatively, click on the Athens login link below.

  2. My Content My Content lists all content in your collection by subject and publisher To run a Quick Search, enter the search term here, use the drop down menu to search by full text, keyword, title, ISBN, or author, and then click search. Select My Content from the drop down menu to view all content. To view all content broken down by any LC Subject Class, click here. To view all content from a specific publisher, click here. To view all content alphanumerically, click here.

  3. My New Content My New Content lists all content recently added to your collection Select My New Content from the drop down menu to view all content recently added to your collection. You will be presented with a full list of titles added from that publisher. Click on the title to read the eBook. Click on the publisher to view all new content recently added from that publisher.

  4. My Resources My Resources are external resources you can subscribe to through MyiLibrary Select My Resources from the drop down menu to view external Resources in your collection. Click on the resource you would like to use and a new window will open.

  5. Available Resources Available Resources are Online Resources you can link to from MyiLibrary Select Available Resources from the drop down menu to view available external resources. Click on the resource you wish to use and a new window will open.

  6. Suggest a Title Suggest a Title lets you email us with details of a title you want in MyiLibrary Select Suggest a Title from the drop down menu to propose a title you would like to see added to your collection. To suggest a title, simply fill in this form and click submit. A member of the MyiLibrary team will contact you as soon as the title is available.

  7. Quick Searching Run a Quick Search to find eBooks on the subject you’re interested in To begin a Quick Search, enter the search term here, use the drop down menu to search full text, keyword, title, ISBN, or author, and then click search. The tool bar at the top tells you how long it took to perform your search, enables you to view either 10, 25 or 50 results per page, and lets you click to the next page of results. You will be presented with a list of titles that matched your criteria, with the highest ranked title at the top.

  8. Refining your Search (1) Refine your search to generate more precise results When you have refined your search, you can save it by naming it here, and logging in to your account. You can see when a search has been refined by a subject, and a new set of titles has appeared. To refine your search by subject, click on the appropriate subject in this box.

  9. Refining your Search (2) Refine your search to generate more precise results Each title lists the subject headings it falls into. Click on these subject headings to view all other titles in this subject. Click here to further refine your search by publisher or alphanumerically. Click on the title of the eBook to find out more.

  10. My Advanced Search Run an Advanced Search to go straight to the title you are looking for To perform a detailed Full Text Advanced Search, fill in the word/s you wish to find/exclude in these boxes. To refine your search by subject, expand the subject tree until you find the subject you are looking for, then click to add it to the search. You can refine this Full Text Search by keyword, publisher, subject, MeSH heading, title, author, date or ISBN. To begin, or reset your advanced search, click here.

  11. My Advanced Search Results Run an Advanced Search to go straight to the title you are looking for Click here to sort these titles by relevance, date published, or title. Search results are displayed exactly the same as if you had performed a Quick Search. Click here to return to the Advanced Search screen and refine your search.

  12. My eBook (1) View the eBook to find out more about it From here, you can click Read Book, to open the book . Alternatively, you can search within this book using a new keyword by typing it here and clicking search. Upon opening the book you will be presented with each page, and in what context, your quick search term has appeared.

  13. My eBook (2) View the eBook to find out more about it If you wish to view the full Table of Contents, simply select it from the drop down menu. You can click on a chapter heading to open the book on that chapter.

  14. My eBook (3) View the eBook to find out more about it To view the details of the book, use the drop down menu and select book details. To view 4 different styles of Citation for this title, select Citation from the drop down menu.

  15. Using the eBook (1) Open and use the eBook of your choice The main tool bar tells you what page you are on, enables you to go to the next of previous page, or jump to a specified page. Once opened, you can elect to run a new keyword search inside this title only. Once opened, you will be shown all pages in the book where your keyword search has appeared. Click on a page to jump to it. Once opened, the book will highlight in yellow the places it has found the keyword used in your search.

  16. Using the eBook (2) Open and use the eBook of your choice Once inside a book you can open the full table of contents and click straight through to the start of any chapter. Once inside a book, you can use our free online dictionary to find a definition of any word you are unsure of.

  17. Making Notes (1) Make notes in a book that you can save, and view later To make notes, login to your account by entering your username and password here. To create an account, click here.

  18. Making Notes (2) Make notes in a book that you can save, and view later To create a note once logged into your account, click on Create/Edit notes. After clicking Create/Edit Notes, write your note in this box. To save this note, click here. Notes are stored in this box for future viewing. To change your password or log out of your account, click here.

  19. Login to My Account (1) Login to your account to view notes and saved searches To log into your Account, either click Login to my Account, or name your latest search, and click Save Search.

  20. Login to My Account (2) Login to your account to view notes and saved searches To log into your Account, enter your username and password here. If you have forgotten your password, enter your email address here and we will send you a new one. To create an account, enter your email address here and we will send you a password.

  21. My Saved Searches Save searches to view the results again and again Once logged into your account, click on the my saved searches tab to view your saved searches. Saved searches show the name of the search, search type, search term, date of search and number of results. Click on the search name to re-open the search. To delete a saved search, click here.

  22. My Bookmarks Open My Bookmarks to view the notes you’ve made in a book Once logged into your account, click on the my bookmarks tab to view your notes. Click here to delete, or print your notes. Your note is shown here. Click on the cover or the title to open the book. The page number is shown here.
