(Nats Oct. 26-28, NC) • Cross Country (10-30 Miles Depending on Category) • Short Track (15-30 Minutes) • Dual Slalom & Downhill • Road bike racing: Spring (Feb.-May) (Nats ~May 15) • Road Races (20-100 Miles) • Criteriums (20-90 Minutes) • Time Trials, Individual Time Trials • Cyclocross Nats: Dec. 14-16, KS • Track Nats: Sept 14-16, CA

Illini Cycling Women’s Captains: Jess Cole & Lindsay Koren • Women’s only rides weekly: TBA - new women come out regardless of skill level or equipment • Women’s points count equally towards team qualification for National Championships • Women’s races are competitive and growing fields from 30-70 people per race • Jess Cole placed 10th and 11th at ‘06 road nationals! • Women's Race Categories • B’s: Beginner/Intermediate • A’s: Intermediate/Advanced Mtn Road 10-15miles 20-30 miles 15-25miles 40-60 miles Women are welcome to all group ride and team events. Women are allowed to race men’s categories during collegiate racing.

  10. Illini Cycling Sponsorship: Sponsorship Chair: Erik Martin Discounts on gear available to racing members of team Must commit to minimum of 3 race weekends to qualify NEVER CONTACT OUR SPONSORS PERSONALLY.

Illini Cycling How To Join: Fill out membership form! $20 Membership (Covers team expenses, helps fund team events) Commitment levels: Self decided (Recreational rider, Diehard Racer) Old members—please still fill out name/email on form in order for membership to be officially confirmed on website.

  12. Illini Cycling RACING THIS WEEKEND: Two options: Mizzou (Collegiate) Race in Columbia, MO Leave Friday afternoon from Colonel Wolf School (SE Corner of 4th & Healey), return Sunday afternoon. Kickapoo (NORBA) Race at Kickapoo State Park Sunday only. Novice/Clydesdale Racing starts at 10AM. Sport/Expert starts at 12. Leave Colonel Wolf School (SE Corner of 4th & Healey) at 7:30AM.
